Established on 10th October 1982, Younus Trading Est. is a leading retailer and wholesaler of building materials, based in the Industrial Area of Al Ain, U.A.E.
Our legacy spans over four decades, making us one of the oldest and most trusted names in the market. An unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction — in both quality and price — has kept us a market leader.
LEADERSHIP
MD Younus Meah Chowdhury
Founder / Managing Director
Mr. MD Younus Meah Chowdhury started with a small electrical workshop and grew it into the enterprise it is today. Beyond the U.A.E., he owns businesses in Oman and Bangladesh.
He is recognised as a CIP (Commercially Important Person) by the Government of Bangladesh and is a member of the NRB CIP Association. He also heads the associated company, Unified Building Materials L.L.C., in Al Ain, U.A.E.
WHAT WE DO
Import, Export & Regional Delivery
We import high-quality goods from the UK, China, India, Oman and Saudi Arabia, and export to Buraimi and West Liwa in the Sultanate of Oman as well as to Bangladesh. Our specialisation lies in electrical and sanitary items.

OUR FACILITIES
Built to Supply at Scale
Our infrastructure includes a main outlet, a branch, four dedicated warehouses and ten sales counters — with one warehouse used exclusively for power cables. A team of 47 people keeps operations, sales and customer service running.
